Vintage 1930s French Floral Brooch Necklace - Rough Rubies and Dyed Stick Pearls - Gold‑Tone Daisy & Rose Pendant

A striking artisan necklace built around an authentic French brooch from the early 1930s. The round gold‑tone brooch features a beautifully detailed daisy and rose floral motif, finished with its original trombone clasp and crafted in the sculptural metalwork characteristic of the period.
To highlight the brooch’s warm tone and floral design, the necklace is constructed with two distinct strands:
•     one strand of purple‑pink dyed stick pearls, and
•     one strand of rough rubies.
The strands are intentionally kept separate, creating a vivid contrast between the organic luster of the pearls and the raw, textural presence of the rubies. This dual‑strand structure frames the brooch beautifully and gives the necklace a refined, contemporary asymmetry. The brooch is worn slightly off‑center for a sculptural, modern effect.
The necklace is finished with vermeil spacers and a vermeil toggle clasp, and it carries your EM signature tag in Etruscan alphabet for Elisabeth Michel‑Meyrueix.
This is an artisan one‑off design, created around a vintage element and built with new gemstone and pearl components.
The vintage brooch is in very good condition with light age‑appropriate wear. All necklace components (pearls, rubies, findings) are new

Stone Properties: Rough rubies are traditionally associated with vitality, courage, and emotional strength. Their natural, unpolished texture is believed to carry a grounding, raw energy that supports motivation and heart‑centered clarity.

A statement piece that blends French vintage charm with contemporary artisan design. Beautiful with a simple dress, silk blouse, or evening knit, and especially striking when styled with warm neutrals or deep jewel tones. The off‑center brooch placement adds a sculptural, gallery‑like presence that makes this necklace ideal for special events, art openings, or occasions where a unique, conversation‑worthy piece is desired. A meaningful choice for collectors of French vintage jewelry and lovers of handcrafted gemstone designs.

Elisabeth Michel-Meyrueix’s unique jewelry showcases antique or vintage pieces mixed with semi-precious stones and precious metals.

This necklace preserves an authentic 1930s French brooch by integrating it into a new, wearable design. Reworking vintage elements reduces waste and honors the craftsmanship of past eras while creating a piece meant to be enjoyed for years to come.

Great choice for heavy chewers
Perfect for dogs that chew hard! Ours shred comparable toys at every turn, but this has held up beautifully. We’ve had it for a few months and it’s got minor wear and tear, but it is easy for them to play with, hardy, and worth every penny.

Durable, Fun, soft enough to not break teeth
Finally found a quality toy that our 75lb Black Mouth Cur hasn't destroyed in 5 minutes! In fact it's been a few months now. There are teeth marks, but she hasn't been able to take a chunk out of it yet. It even has some bounce to it when you toss it. And she finds it fun. Veterinary dentists recommend toys that are soft enough that you can leave a fingernail print in for toys that are less likely to break teeth, unlike bones and antlers. This is that toy! (My other dog broke both of her upper 3 rooted premolars on a Nylabone - healthy roots but the slab fracture exposed the pulp and had to be removed. Healthy roots are more difficult to remove. Dentists say those and antlers are money makers. 😭)

Great toy for big chewers!
Have only had 3 days but my boy has been trying to destroy it and it’s holding up really well! Normally his toys would have been destroyed in 24 hours or less, including Kong and other brands advertised as tough!

Durability is no joke!
Excellent product! Our GSD puppy chewed it for the past 10 months and she is a pretty strong chewer. Only now did she manage to get a couple small pieces off of it, and WoofBite was quick to provide our one-time replacement. Great customer service! Will purchase more of their products and highly recommend!

So far so good
Had this for almost a month and no chunks have been chewed off yet. I have a lab who prefers chewing over pulling or retrieving type toys. She's destroyed everything we've given her --sometimes within minutes. She loves Wubbas but she chews them to bits immediately. Other toys get chunks or small pieces chewed off and we wind up throwing them away. This has lasted well. Full disclosure, we only pull out toys at the end of the day for just a couple of hours, and we are within sight of her the whole time, that's why 4 stars. But so far to our surprise this has held up very well.
